French cider has nothing to do with the sweet industrial versions. Our ciders and poirés come from organic standard orchards in Normandy, pressed and fermented like wine: dry, complex, sometimes tannic.
It's the easiest bottle to introduce someone to — lower in alcohol than wine, and an obvious match for charcuterie and cheese.
